Terms and Conditions

Booking :  To confirm a booking please send a deposit of 25% for total sum of rooms and meals booked, which can be a sterling or Euro cheque.  Sterling cheques should be made out to D and L Birtles and sent to : Le Moulin de l’Epinay, 76270 Ste-Beuve-en-Rivière, France.  Euro cheques should be made out to Le Moulin de l’Epinay. In the event of cancellation, deposit cheques are non-refundable unless we are able to re-let the accommodation.

On receipt of the deposit we will send you a letter or email to confirm the booking.

Arrivals and Departures:   Since we need time for shopping and errands in the afternoon, please aim to arrive around 4.30 - 5pm.  If you do reach us earlier, feel free to stroll in the garden and find the waterfalls on our island.

If you are delayed, we would appreciate a call to let us know, especially if you have booked a meal.

On the morning of your departure, please vacate your room by 10.30 am at the latest to enable us to prepare for our next visitors.

Smokers:   We thank you in advance for not smoking in the house, nor in the outside eatery.

Meal times:  

Breakfast is from 8.30 am;  however, if you would prefer an earlier breakfast, we can arrange this. 

Dinner :  Apéro at 7.30 pm with table d’hôtes at 8.0 pm.   Assiette Gourmande can be at any mutually convenient time. Let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.

Dogs: are not allowed in the house but well-trained dogs are still welcome - provided they sleep in your car.  A grassy lane leads to the village, perfect for exercising dogs and people after a long drive.  If you do bring your dog, please keep it under control, particularly when small children are around – and clear up any dog mess.
